FleetCon 2026 Draws 15th-Annual Music Conference to Jacksonville, Boosting Local Economy and Spotlighting Breaka
FleetCon 2026, the 15th Annual Fleet DJs Music Conference, convened in Jacksonville, Florida, from July 16 to 20, 2026. The event brought together DJs, filmmakers, artists, broadcasters, podcasters, entrepreneurs and entertainment professionals from across the United States and the surrounding Duval corridors. The conference was hosted by Fleet DJs CEO Klassik and Director of Media Relations Tiea Whitaker.

Jacksonville native Jamar Breaker, known professionally as Breaka, emerged as a breakout artist. A graduate of Stanton College Preparatory School, Breaka energized audiences during the DJ Cook Up Festival with tracks from his latest album, Theme Musical. His performance highlighted Jacksonville’s growing influence in the music industry.
Panel discussions were led by notable figures. Dr. Rhonda Marie, CEO of I AM, traveled from Shreveport, Louisiana, to serve as a featured panelist on Saturday. Valerie Denise Jones, founder of BIG Media, moderated multiple panels and helped coordinate speaker appearances, bringing together respected voices from the city’s creative community.
Other speakers and participants included Adam Madrid of the Jacksonville Film Office, Monique Madrid, founder and CEO of the LOL JAX Film Festival, Cydney Wright of News4JAX, and Billy Covington of the legendary R&B group Hi‑Five, best known for the platinum‑selling hit “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game).”
