Orbit Culture Unveils Nuclear God Single Ahead of Deluxe Death Above Life Release, Announces Extensive Tour Dates
Orbit Culture, the Swedish melodic‑death metal outfit from Eksjö, has released a new single titled "Nuclear God" and announced the forthcoming deluxe edition of their fifth studio album, Death Above Life. The track, which first appeared as a bonus on the Japanese edition of the album, will be included in the expanded release scheduled for October 9, 2026.
"Nuclear God" was issued as a bonus track on the Japan‑only version of Death Above Life, which originally dropped on October 3, 2025 through Century Media. The band said the song’s “relentless chaos” matched the energy of footage they collected from summer festivals, and that the music video was assembled from those clips by Riivata. The video serves as a tribute to the community that has grown around Orbit Culture.
The deluxe edition will add four bonus tracks to the original album: "Spiral Head", "The Form Not Meant To Be", "The Path I Walk" (featuring violinist Tina Guo), and the previously released "Nuclear God". In addition to the new songs, the package will include a 40‑page booklet featuring live shots and behind‑the‑scenes images from the band’s personal archive.
