From the gritty streets of Orange County to the bright lights of Melbourne’s arenas, Dayseeker is back on the Australian circuit, this time with a full‑blown headline run that promises to push the band’s reach even further. On 9 July, the Southern California outfit confirmed a five‑date February 2027 tour that will kick off in Perth on 7 Feb and wrap in Brisbane on 14 Feb. The shows in Melbourne and Sydney are slated to be the largest stage appearances the band has ever played in the country.

The itinerary is set: Perth’s Metro City on 7 Feb, Adelaide’s Hindley St Music Hall on 9 Feb, Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on 11 Feb, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on 12 Feb, and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on 14 Feb. The Melbourne and Sydney dates will be the biggest arena‑sized gigs Dayseeker has taken on Australian soil.

Dayseeker’s rise in the local market accelerated after their 2024 headline tour, which sold out every national date. The 2025 Good Things Festival appearance broadened their exposure to a wider audience, reinforcing the band’s appeal beyond the post‑hardcore niche. The upcoming 2027 run reflects promoter confidence in the band’s expanding local following.

Formed in 2012 in Orange County, California, Dayseeker has evolved from underground post‑hardcore roots into one of the most commercially successful acts in modern heavy music. Their discography now includes six studio albums, with the latest, Creature in the Black Night (October 2025), delivering the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart‑topping single “Crawl Back To My Coffin” and marking the band’s first number‑one on that format.

The 2027 tour will feature Canadian artist Jutes, who is making his Australian debut. Jutes has built an international following with releases such as Ladybug and Sleepyhead. His forthcoming album Chin Up, Beautiful is slated for release on 5 August, and his recent work has accumulated hundreds of millions of streams and earned a Billboard Alternative Airplay chart entry.

Joining Dayseeker is Silent Planet, a progressive metalcore band from California that has maintained a strong reputation since 2009. Their most recent full‑length album, Superbloom (2023), and the collaborative EP Bloom In Heaven with Invent Animate (2025) have helped the group cultivate a dedicated fan base. Silent Planet toured Australia in 2025 supporting ERRA, further strengthening their local following.

The American duo Sace6 will also support the tour. Their debut album brutalist was released in 2026, and the pair earned nominations for Best International Breakthrough Artist and Best Breakthrough Album at the Heavy Music Awards. Sace6 made their Australian live debut earlier in 2026 supporting the band Nothing, Nowhere.

Dayseeker’s lineup for the tour includes vocalist Rory Rodriguez, bassist Ramone Valerio, drummer Zac Mayfield, and touring guitarist Mitch Stark, who joined following the departure of founding guitarist Gino Sgambelluri in November 2025. Rodriguez expressed enthusiasm for the 2027 run, stating, “We’re so thrilled to be coming back to Australia to start off our 2027. These will be some of the biggest headlining shows of our career and we can’t wait for our friends overseas to see the show we’ve put together.”

Ticketing for the tour will begin with an artist and early‑bird pre‑sale on 14 July at 12:00 pm AEST, followed by a venue pre‑sale on 15 July at 12:00 pm local time. General‑public tickets go on sale on 16 July at 12:00 pm local time through Destroy All Lines. Fans can register early tickets at https://daltours.cc/dayseeker.

The 2027 Australian tour represents a significant milestone in Dayseeker’s career, expanding their reach in a key market and showcasing a robust support lineup that spans multiple sub‑genres of heavy music. The band’s continued chart success and growing fan base suggest that the February run will be a commercial and artistic highlight for the Southern California group.
