Owen Riegling Releases New Single "Men Into Boys" Ahead of In The Feeling Tour; Receives Four 2026 CCMA Nominations
The song, a collaboration between Riegling and Nashville writer Ryan Kennedy, was produced by Oscar Charles and recorded at Mighty Rose Sound in Franklin, Tennessee. It follows the April 2026 release of his second album, In The Feeling, which has been praised by NPR Music as one of its “Best Country Albums” and has earned positive reviews from Billboard Canada, CBC Q, All Country News, and Billboard US, all of which highlighted Riegling’s expanding songwriting voice.
Riegling’s rise accelerated after he won the 2022 Boots & Hearts Festival Emerging Artist Competition. His debut album, Bruce County (From The Beginning), launched in 2024 and earned a 2025 CCMA Album of the Year award, several Country Music of Ontario honors, and a Juno nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. The single “Old Dirt Roads” from that album achieved double‑platinum certification in Canada.
In 2026, Riegling performed at two of country’s most iconic stages. A two‑song set at Massey Hall and a standing‑ovation set at the Grand Ole Opry—featuring the title track from In The Feeling and “Old Dirt Roads”—were reported by Universal Music Canada and received widespread acclaim.
The Canadian Country Music Association announced Riegling’s nominations for the 2026 CCMA Awards on July 16. He is up for Entertainer of the Year, Ford F‑150 Album of the Year (for In The Feeling), Fan’s Choice, and Male Artist of the Year. These follow his 2025 win in the Ford F‑150 category.
The In The Feeling tour kicks off on September 24 in Nashville and will take Riegling to venues across the United States and Canada, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Chicago, Lexington, New York, Philadelphia, Cambridge, Vancouver, Vernon, Calgary, Regina, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Pickering, Ottawa, Montréal, and Moncton. Additional dates include a July 25 show in Mattawa, Ontario; an August 8 performance at Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan; an August 14 appearance in Stirling, Ontario; and several September and October stops in the U.S.
A native of Mildmay, Ontario, Riegling blends small‑town authenticity with an arena‑ready sound. He has opened for Brett Young, Jake Owen, Tyler Hubbard, Chase Rice, Tyler Braden, Kelsea Ballerini, and Dierks Bentley.
In The Feeling—produced by Oscar Charles in Nashville—features Nashville songwriters and tackles themes of identity, distance from home, and the tension between ambition and belonging. Tracks like “Taillight This Town” explore the pull of leaving and longing, while “Love Hate Love” showcases Riegling’s stage energy.
Riegling’s recent marriage to longtime partner Liv is noted as a personal milestone that has informed the emotional core of In The Feeling.
The release of “Men Into Boys” dovetails with the tour launch, positioning Riegling for continued visibility across Canada and the United States. The single’s focus on friendship and nostalgia fits within the album’s broader narrative of growth.
As of July 2026, Riegling stands at a crossroads of critical acclaim, commercial success, and touring momentum, with the upcoming CCMA awards and the In The Feeling tour marking the next key public milestones for the artist.
